What this site is

Ramadan2027.net is a reference site for Ramadan 1448 AH, which is expected to fall in February and March 2027. It publishes projected Ramadan dates, daily Sehri and Iftar times, prayer timetables and fasting durations for cities worldwide, along with calculators, guides, duas and explanatory articles about the month.

What this site is not

It is not a mosque, a religious institution, or a source of religious rulings. Nobody here issues fatwa. Where a question turns on jurisprudence — whether a particular medicine breaks your fast, whether an illness excuses you, how much zakat a particular business owes — the right answer comes from a qualified scholar who can hear your actual circumstances, not from a web page.

It is also not a moon-sighting authority. Every Gregorian date on this site is a calculated projection. The binding date for your fast is the one announced by your local mosque or your country’s sighting committee. Where the two differ, follow the announcement.

How the information is put together

  • Prayer and fasting times are calculated from the latitude, longitude and IANA time zone of each city using standard solar geometry and a published calculation method. The Methodology page sets out exactly which angles and conventions are used, and why your mosque’s printed timetable may differ by a few minutes.
  • Religious material — hadith, duas, the rules of fasting — carries its source. Qur’an quotations name the surah and verse. Hadith name the collection and the hadith number. Where a narration is weak or disputed, it is labelled as such rather than presented alongside the authentic ones.
  • Health material reflects general public-health guidance, is written as education rather than advice, and points readers to a doctor for anything specific to them.
  • Dates are described as expected, projected or calculated, never as confirmed, until a sighting has actually taken place.

Corrections
