Qur’an Reading Planner for Ramadan

Ramadan 2027 tool

Qur’an Reading Planner

Turn your Ramadan completion goal into a daily and per-prayer reading target.

Juz per day—
Approx. pages per day—
Pages after each prayer—

Page estimate uses the common 604-page Madinah mushaf; editions differ, so use the juz target when page numbering is different.

A target you can actually use

The planner divides 30 juz across the number of days and completions you select. It shows the approximate juz and page target per day using the common 604-page Madinah mushaf as a planning reference. Page numbering can differ between editions, so the juz target is the more portable measure.

Adjust when you miss a day

If your schedule changes, reduce the remaining-day field and recalculate. A smaller sustainable target is more useful than an unrealistic plan that is abandoned after a few days.

Three ways to divide the target

A full Qur’an contains 30 juz. One completion in 30 days is therefore about one juz per day. Two completions require about two juz per day. The page estimate is only a convenience because mushaf editions can paginate differently.

Build around prayer times

Some readers divide the daily portion into five blocks after the obligatory prayers; others read a larger block after Fajr or Taraweeh. The planner does not prescribe one schedule. Use whichever pattern makes the target repeatable while protecting sleep, work and family responsibilities.

When Ramadan is 29 days

If your community completes Ramadan in 29 days, recalculate using 29 available days or finish the remaining portion after Ramadan. Do not treat a projected 30th day as guaranteed.

Choose a unit that matches your mushaf

Juz are standard divisions, while page numbers depend on the printed edition or app. The page target in this tool uses a 604-page Madinah-mushaf reference only as an estimate. A reader using a different edition should follow the juz target or convert it to their own pages.

Account for missed days

If two days are missed, do not keep displaying the original daily goal as though nothing changed. Re-enter the number of days actually remaining. The planner recalculates the remaining average so the user can decide whether to increase the target or reduce the completion goal.

Reading versus completion

A khatm target can be motivating, but speed is not the only measure of benefit. Users who are studying meaning or recitation may intentionally cover less text. The calculator is a pacing tool, not a judgement about the quality of worship.
