Laylat al-Qadr Dua

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka ‘Afuwwun tuhibbu al-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni

“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.”

Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi 3513, from ‘A’ishah, who asked what to say if she knew which night it was.

Repeat it through the night

Say it in the odd nights of the last ten, in prayer, in sujood and between prayers. See our Laylat al-Qadr section for the nights to focus on.

Transliteration is a guide only; recite from the Arabic where you can. References are given so you can verify each wording.
