Dua for Guidance and Taqwa
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allahumma inni as’aluka al-huda wat-tuqa wal-‘afafa wal-ghina
“O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and self-sufficiency.”

The Qur’an gives taqwa as the reason for fasting (2:183); asking for it directly each day matches the month’s purpose.
