Reported signs
- A calm, temperate night, neither hot nor cold (Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2192).
- The sun rises the next morning without piercing rays, like a plate (Sahih Muslim 762).
- Tranquillity and a sense of peace, as the verse says: “Peace it is until the emergence of dawn” (Qur’an 97:5).
Signs are recognised afterwards
Most of these are noticed the next morning, not during the night. Nobody should wait for a sign before worshipping.
If you feel nothing
The reward attaches to standing in prayer “out of faith and seeking reward” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2014) — not to an experience. A quiet, ordinary-feeling night of sincere worship may be the night itself.
Signs are retrospective, not a scheduling system
Reports about the character of the night or the following morning should not be used to declare the night in advance. Weather, cloud and local climate can also make casual visual claims unreliable.
Avoid viral certainty
Photos of the Sun, unusual weather or a personal feeling are not enough to prove a date for an entire community. The practical Sunnah remains to seek the night through the last ten.
What a sign cannot do
A reported sign cannot retroactively invalidate worship on the other nights, and it cannot create certainty from a blurry photograph or social-media rumour. The religious instruction is to seek the night, not to run a weather-detection contest.

Descriptions of the following morning should be handled as transmitted signs, not as a scientific filter that can be reliably automated from brightness, temperature or camera exposure.

The practical instruction is clearer
Authentic hadith direct Muslims to seek the night in the last ten nights, especially the odd nights. That action-oriented guidance is more useful than trying to reverse-engineer a precise date from viral lists of signs.
After the night
A person who feels they missed a special experience should not conclude that their worship was worthless. Continue worship through the remaining nights rather than abandoning the period after one predicted date passes.
