Eid Mubarak Greetings
The traditional greeting
“Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum” — may Allah accept from us and from you — is reported from the companions. “Eid Mubarak” (blessed Eid) and “Eid Sa‘id” (happy Eid) are the common everyday greetings.
For family
- “Eid Mubarak. May Allah accept your fasts, your prayers and every dua you made this month.”
- “The house is brighter because you are in it. Eid Mubarak.”
For friends
- “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum — Eid Mubarak to you and your family.”
- “Thirty days done. May the change stay. Eid Mubarak.”
